Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

credit card bills

have been separated from spouse not legally for 2 1/2 years. spouse has racked up $120,000 in credit cards bills. My name is not on the credit cards. I have seen spouse 5 times in 2 years. I pay spouses medical insurance.

Am I lible for these bills. spouse lives in a different state

You need a divorce attorney. Do not let this go any longer without getting assistance. It might end up costing you more money.

Each spouse is liable for the others debt. I would suggest you get a divorce to settle all of this and make sure that you are discharged from all debt.
