Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey
I was given custody of my daughter about 8 months ago because her mom tested positive for marijuana and also she had my daughter locked in her bedroom while a family member was watching her the police had to come and kick the door down to get her out but to make a long story short division of youth family services got involved she was given drug and parenting classes and she completed them and now she filed for custody . does that mean i lose custody and she goes back to her mom . she is 4 i have her enrolled in school and shes doing much better with me

If there is a DYFS case going on, you need to file for a GM hearing. If there is no DYFS case in court, you need to fight the custody case. Either way, you should have an attorney. Call me at 732/773/2768 to discuss further.
