We have Custody of Granddaughter

We have been awared custody of of Granddaughter. We have submitted a request of modification of support to increase amount paid by father.

Father pays 15/wk

Mother pays 50/wk

Do we need to show proof of income??

usually, new jersey courts require a "change in circumstances" in order to justify a modification in child support - up or down. an income/expense sheet is part of the motion package. sometimes, the judges ask for tax returns, etc. you may call me at 609 263-0089 for a free consultation - often, people make out better with a lawyer. good luck !
