Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

Custody question

I told my husband that I want a divorce and he told me that I can not leave with my daughter. I have two children one with him a girl 1 yr old and I have a son from another relationship he is 6 I am 32 weeks pregnant with me and my husbands second child. Can he prevent me leaving with my children to my mothers? We live with my mother in law

So long as there is no court order you can leave with the child and go to your mother so long as she lives in New Jersey.

It is sad for your children ( including the one about to be born )that you are talking to a lawyer and not talking to a marriage counselor and/or your pastor or rabbi or priest.
