Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

custody and relocation

I was 17 when I had my daughter, I had to overcome a lot of hardships(no substance or child neglect) I am now 28 and have been married for sometime and have other children. I put in an order to relocate to another state, but my child's father is fighting it. I moved to NY from NJ 3 years ago with his permission, he resides in NJ. I have a job waiting for me and the cost of living is less expensive in the other state. I feel my children will have a better quality of life. This move will interfere with his every other visitations, but I offered to pay for his plane flights. My daughter's father is now requesting full custody of her. (bc he is a cop now he feels he can provide a better home) He is not remarried nor does he have any other children. And claims bc of the past I am unstable. My child has cried at the thought of having to go live with her father. I can not afford an attorney. Please Help, what are my chances of losing my child and being able to relocate??
