This should have been covered in your divorce decree.

Did you obtain custody by a petition, or did you just agree to custody verbally with your ex-spouse?

You and your child's other parent should have a visitation agreement in writing so that both parties interest are protected, and so that the child will have visits that are pleasanr and not preceeded by a lot of confusion.

i have read what the other lawyer wrote, and she is correct.

if your divorce decree does not spell out what the rules are, then you and he should follow the basic rule. do what makes sense for your child.
