Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

My daughter has been emancipated, she's 19 and a full time student. She doesn't live at home, she has her own apartment. Am I still entitled to child support for her or some kind of help towards her schooling?

Unless you pay her rent and buy her food you are not entitled to child support. She may be entitled to help with payingl for school if it can be demonstrated that she is still dependent

in other ways.

Call me if you like.

Yes and no. Emancipation ends all support but if she is in school, she should not be emancipated. I would need more information. Feel free to call me at 732/773/2768 to discuss your options.
