Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

Dear Lawyer/Attorney,

I am a minor in the state of New Jersey. About two years ago my parents separated. Until about six months ago I resided with my dad in Philadelphia. A court order determined that until the final custody decision was made, I would see my father every other weekend. My mother brought me a week after that decision was made and hasn't brought me since (with no legit reason). Can she do this? Is this allowed? Will this jeopardize her chances of winning the custody battle?

Custody battles are very unique and fact sensitive. Whether or not a custodial parent has the rightto do something is up to the court to decide. Have your father contact an attorneyin New Jesey to be advised of his rights.
