Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

deceased mother, deceased executor

The State of NJ has monies ($2500) in the name of my deceased mother. My brother, the executor, is also deceased. I would like to claim the monies from NJ. The remaining heirs are my sister, my brothers' children and myself. My question is how do I become the executor/administrator of the estate.

Re: deceased mother, deceased executor

any decent estate attorney should be able to do this for you. but first, have you tried doing this without a lawyer? you will spend several hundred dollars at least on a lawyer.

I would be happy to speak to you on the telephone, but it will take more than just a brief telephone call to assist you with these issues.
