im living in new jersey my husband move to georgia i would like to know if i would be able to get all my rights e.g my percentage of assets, child support and allomaney

Only one person need to have lived in New Jersey for a year in order to file for divorce in New Jersey. You can file for divorce in New Jersey and
have the papers served on your husband in Georgia. The case would then proceed in New Jersey pursuant to the law of New Jersey. On the other hand if he somehow files in Georgia before you the case will be heard in Georgia.
I should point out that the only instance where it is not necessary to live in New Jersey for a year prior to filing for divorce is where the ground for
divorce is adultery. Where adultery is alleged residence for any period of time is sufficient.
