Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey
Never got a devorce
As a young man in the army, stationed at Frot Dix, N.J. I met a girl and got her pregnant. We got Married and I went overseas. I got a letter from her that the the child was not mine and she took off, never to be heard of again. That is until about 6 months ago, when I got an email from someone claiming to be my Daughter. She did not want anything, just to meet me. I declined the offer (she is now 38 ys. od.)
Last week I got an email from this former wife saying that she was trying to get Social security disability and needed to know when and where I got the divorce.
The problem is I never did get a divorce from her and I am now married to the woman I love.
Am I married and how do I clear this up.

From your zip code, it appears you are now in Pennsylvania. You should immediately see a local lawyer and file for a no fault divorce from your first wife and then remarry your current wife. Your first wife may now be entitled to social security based on a marriage of more then ten years. On any Army pension or insurance make sure your current wife is named by name and not "wife".
Good luck
