Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

Divorce agreements involving kids

If a couple gets divorced and their divorce agreement states that the mother will pay for the college tuition of the couple's three children, present ages 7,8 and 11 and the mother states that she will not pay, are the children beneficiaries of the divorce agreement? Under what theory could they sue if they sue their mother? If the mother becomes ill that causes hardship, is she still liable?

It sounds like you are trying to do a divorce involving kids without an attorney.

That is very foolish.

Please get a lawyer to advise you.
