Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

getting a divorce

bottom line is that My wife & I were married roughly for 9 months. She left our custodial home June of 2009. I was served divorce papers on the 15th of October. How long do I have to respond to her papers? It states 35 days, does it include business days? She wants $20,000 (islamic agreement), to pay for her legal bills as well as what was attained through our brief marriage. The thing is that right before she in June, she took about $70K worth of jewerly from our home that was given by my parents as gifts to both of us. what exactly a should I do. Thank you for your time in this matter.....

You need to hire an attorney. Also it would appear that he has received more than her entitlement under the agreement.
