Dear Attorneys, I have a friend who has gone through a big,bad,bitter divorce. My friend has custody of three children. The XYZ demands $ form my friend every 5 minutes of the day and so does the XYZ's attorney demand $.Is it fair that the XYZ demands $ all day long from my friend plus this person has the phones taped as well. In my opinion this is harassment.How does the law read in New Jersey? The XYZ receives everything and my friend is responsible for all of the debt and everything else? Thank you for listening to me. There is some missing information here. You are telling us about a problem, but I'm not sure why he got there in the first place. I would need a lot more information before I can determine his best course of action.
