divorce in default

What options do I have when my divorce is in default, me obviously being the one in default?

If judgment has not been entered you can hire an attorney to apply to the Court to set aside the default and file an Ansnwer to the Complaint.

If there is property to divide the court rules require that you be given notice of plaintiff's plan for distributing same and you can appear at

the scheduled hearing and advise the judge that

you want to contest the matter. He may or may not be receptive to such an application.

Call me if you like.
