Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

Divorce

My husband had a condo before we got married. Once we were married, I moved in. Now it is 10 months later and he is throwing me out. Is the condo my home too or just his since he was there first? I give him all my paychecks.

Re: Divorce

Subjest to further review of the revision to Title 3B, I would see a lawyer as you probably have the right to joint occupancy of the principal matrimonial residence regardless of title in the other spouse's name. You state that you have occupied the condo since the marriage so that it would appear you are entitled to continue to occupy the condo. See a lawyer or email me for further help. Thanks for including your zipcode.

Re: Divorce

He is throwing you out? Nice. 10 month marriage.

You may have a claim to possession (occupancy), and some small claim to a portion of the value. You will have other legal issues to deal with. Please get to a lawyer and get some advice. You need to know what your rights are. Do not try to do this on your own.
