Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

Divorce

My husband and I have decided to divorce. We/I never recorded our marriage. We have the license, hd the wedding, etc, but never registered our marriage. Is this marriage still valid after seven years? And if not is a formal divorce decree necessary?

Re: Divorce

Where were you married? If you obtained a license in NJ, got married in NJ it's one thing; it's another if you married out of country.

Get back to me with some details.
