Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

i am looking to divorce my husband of 10 years. we have 3 children and it was understood that i would stay home with the kids with kids till they were in school fulltime. i have tried to work but he made it impossible. He drank for over 10 yrs. and finally, after asking repeatatley to stop, he has. But I feel as if it's too much too late. i can't see myself with him another 10 years and i feel stuck because i have no job, and going to some kind of work and putting the 2 young children in daycare scares me.

Well, what is your age, health and work experience. All of these will be factors in whether you will be able to get some sort of maintenance and the duration of same. You will get child support (I am assuming he works) and if that's not enough then you may be able to get maintenance too.
