You need to consult with an experienced family law attorney. An annulment of a marriage is very limited and is available only in very specific circumstances. If an annulment is not an option for you, then you will have to file for divorce. Depending upon what assets you and your husband have, you will have to go through a process called equitable distribution of your property. Also, if you and your husband have children, there may be custody issues that have to be addressed. Feel free to contact my office for a consultation.

Re: divorce

You have to file a divorce complaint in the Superior Court, in the County where you or your husband reside. You should definitely have an attorney if there are minor children, or if there are any assets or large debts incurred during the marriage. Call us if you want a free initial consultation.
