Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

Divorce trial

If a person getting divorced had an affair with someone from another state and the divorce goes to trial, can the person from the other state be required to testify at the trial? Can any criminal charges be involved? If travel is required, would travel and work loss charges be reimbursed?

Re: Divorce trial

When you prove adultery all you get is a divorce and the usual share of marital assets. In New Jersey

the ground for divorce does not affect the other issues of a divorce. So, save your money.
