Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

I'm divorced in nj . One child age 13 . My decree says we are both to be named on each others policies and child is beneficiary . My child does not talk or see him . This is the last person I would want being left with money intended for my child he would spend it . Can I motion to change this ? If not can the instructions how it's handled be specific ?
