Divorce/new jersey

my brother and wife are getting a divorce and the wife is filing for extreme crulty. they have two children ages 14 and 8 he did hit her and she did not file a complaint but he is going for anger management classes. she has also hit he infront of his mother,spit on him and belittled him in front of his entire family and friends and also in front of her family as well. how should he file with a lawyer and can he ask the courts to have the wife take councling with the children? thank you.

You brother should seriously consider filing a domestic violence complaint because when it is upheld a judge will be willing to order her to attend anger management classes and get other counseling.
