DNA and child support

Can a mother pursue getting back child support from a alledged father thru DNA testing, and if so who do you know that would council this type of case. and if not is their any other recourse for the mother to pursue in recieving a settlement for reimbursement of monies for raising the child on her own.

Generally, child support is only payable from the date of the filing of the motion. There may be other extenuating circumstances which would change this.
