Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

Domestic Partnership & Unborn Child Law

Hello, I have a domestic partnership in the state of NY and I live in NJ. My partner recently got inseminated and pregnant with triplets. I provide healthcare coverage for my partner thru my employer. I'd like to know what are my rights to the children if any?

Re: Domestic Partnership & Unborn Child Law

Without looking I know there is not a lot of legal precedent for your situation. I think the better question is what entitlement MIGHT you have. Secondly the children reside in New York

and custody would be determined there. Thirdly,

the recent New Jersey Supreme Court case must be closely and carefully read to see if it could give some right in New Jersey.

This case will be handled in NY so I suggest you repost your question and put NY as the state.
