Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

dual judgment

I am filing for divorce from my spouse in the state of NJ. She wants to file a 'dual judgment'. We have agreed on all issues and are filing for joing legal and joint physical custody of our children. How does this affect the divorce process and would I still file as the plaintiff - what changes does this cause by filing a 'dual judgment'?

Re: dual judgment

None really, but my concern is that you are going at this alone. I suggest you get an attorney to go over this with you. It won't cost much and it will be a great investment.
