emancipation of child

i need advice on how to get my daughter emancipated. she's 21 and is no longer a full-time student.

There is no such thing as emancipating a 21 year old. At age 18 she became an adult automatically. Only minors can be emancipated. I gather you actually have a different question but do not know the legal jargon, so try posting again and tell us what you need done.

A motion must be filed with the Court to terminate the support obligation based upon your child's independence.

I think you mean that you want to stop having to pay child support to support this young woman. I will assume that is what you mean. Please post another question if that is NOT what you mean.

Crazy as it sounds, stopping child support does not happen automatically. You have to ask the Court to stop it, by filing a written motion asking to do this.

You are likely to be more successful with an attorney representing you.
