Re: emancipation of child in college

Please be advised that I have not been retained to represent you and I am basing this response on the limied information supplied. However, if the child is over 18 and you have no agreement with your ex-spouse to pay for college, you can argue that the child is old enough to be emancipated and your obligations to her will likely cease. I would need to review all of your divorce agreements in order to properly adivse you and you should not rely on this information without consulting an attorney. If you wish to speak with me I can be reached at 908-537-7975.

GOOD LUCK!
