Re: emancipation
you do this by filing a motion, stating what you have just said, with proof. the Court will declare him emancipated, and terminate child support.
This is a lot easier with a lawyer's help. The cost should be about or maybe under $1,000.00 or so, plus court filing fees; this will vary depending on what if anything she does to fight it.

Re: emancipation
You must file a motion to have the Court find him to be emancipated by virtue of his military service.

Re: emancipation
If your ex-wife agrees that he is emanciapated you can do a Consent Order to the Court. If you pay through Probation see if they can provide you with one. You will need a copy of his enlistment papers.
If she will not agree, you will have to file a motion with the Court, showing the proof of his enlistment. You probably need an attorney to do it. The cost should be about $1,000. If you want my help, please call for an appointment.
Re: emancipation
You must go to Family Court and file a Petition to terminate support. ONce he is enlisted he is considered "emancipated" and you no longer are obligated to support him.
Re: emancipation
You just need to file a motion with the court. In my opinion, you DO NOT need an attorney. The motion forms are easy to fill out and you should have no problem. If the other side gets an attorney and fights this, then you should get an attorney.
