Am I entitled to Alimony?
my husband of 23 years and i just got divorced he claims that now that we are divorced he has no financial obligation to me. i am of ill health and have two children under 22 who are currently full time students...he has never paid child support in the 6 years we had been sepaprated and said that he would not pay a dime. He received 2500 a month and he has no financial obligations, he does not pay rent b/c he lives with his mother. i pay a mortgage, a car loan, plus i fully support my children, even providing their healthcare...am i entitled to a percentage of alimony and child support?

Re: Am I entitled to Alimony?
Alimony and child support are issues normally deacided as part of the divorce. Normally, the entitlement to alimony does not survive the divorce where the issue was not raised. Child support is another matter. The obligation to pay child support exists so long as one is able to work or otherwise earn money or until a child becomes emancipated.
