what am I entitled to
I got married on oct7 2000 my husband recieved money for a lawsuit premarriage also in the yr 2000 he wants me to sell my home which has alot of equity in it quit my job and use that money for a new house which he will match the down payment for the house. i make enough money right now to provide for my daughter and i alone If i give up my job sell my house and have a baby my earning potental is much less.he wants me to sign papers saying i will never go after his lawsuit money. Should I and at this point if we split do i have a right to it now?

You have some major problems less than 6 months into your marriage! These issues seem to be very basic ones that really should have been resolved before you decided to get married. Having not resolved them, they need to be resolved before you do anything further. Maybe I'm getting the wrong vibrations; however, it seems to me that your husband is trying to dictate some terms that you are not really happy with. If that is the case, and you go along with him, you may be facing potential disaster if things do not go the way he wants them to go down the road. You need to immediately seek the advice of an attorney to protect your interests. This is especially important in light of the fact that you have a daughter to protect.
