He can not ust decide that he is no longer a father. He can decide not to object if your rpresent husband applies to adopt your children. A parent can not become not a parent because he or she decides to give up his or her parenthood.
Call me if you like.
I agree with the previous answer. Please call my office to schedule an appointment and we can proceed with an adoption proceeding.
Sounds like your ex is going to agree if your husband adopts your children. And it will give your children a big sense of stability if your husband is 'really, officially' their father.
Give me a call, make an appointment to come see me, and let's get moving on this for you. No charge for the first office visit.
I know people worry about how expensive a lawyer is, so I am careful to be as inexpensive as I can for my clients. Before you spend a dime, you will know how much this is likely to be.
