A Father's Love

My boyfriend has filed for full custody of his son. The birth mother has stated that she does not want to go to court, but is willing to sign over her rights. The court date is three weeks away. Are there legal papers the birth mother can sign now that will give my boyfriend all parental rights, untill he goes to court.

The best protection is that the parties sign a consent order to be filed with the court under the action for custody.
