When you meet with a lawyer to file for divorce and child custody, what do you need to bring, as far as paperwork, ect.

What in the world are you thinking?

You are going to meet a lawyer. Ask the lawyer what he/she wants you to bring.

If you can not get that basic information from the lawyer before starting to use his/her services, then there is a huge problem.
