Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey
Filing for custody
Is there any advantage to filing first or waiting to answer the other side's motion? Is there anyway that I can find out how a judge generally rules regarding certain topics I have a new judge this year and want to do my homework in Bergen County? Can a cover letter that states this may not be used as evidence or in court mean anything from the other side?
Thank you

You are going to do this without an attorney I assume? It happens often, but I almost never recommend it. You have a lot of questions and this is not the proper forum for this type of discussion. Feel free to call me at 732/247/3340 to discuss your case.
