Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

filing for divorce

My husband is filing for divorce, hes lawyer told me to look for an apartment that my husban will pay, the house is not under our name but the payments of that house were from our bank account, we lived 8 years together, we have 2 kids, and i don't know what to do.

i don't have any money to pay for a lawyer, i called the free service law but they said i have to wait 3 month, i can't wait , i have 25% in the company where my husband sais that he took me off, i never sained any papers to return my 25%. he reported in the taxes that hes earning were 1.4 millions but thats not true. i don't know what to do, i need an attorney but i don't have any money is not a way were he can pay for my lawyer ?

Yes, based on your explanation you would qualify for getting your husband to pay all or part of your legal fees. You would have to come up with court costs and expenses to get started. Also, do not move out of your home without a written agreement reviewed by an attorney.
