Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey
financial obligations,moving out of state
(1)I am currently in the process of divorceing my wife of almost 9 years. During the past 2 years I took out a personal loan to buy 2 brand new cars, one of which is in my wifes name. The title is in her name only.I have been making payments on both vehicles as scheduled and have proof of payments and proof of recieving the loan and paying for the vehicle in my wifes name.Is my wife responsible to pay for half the amount of the loans that I took out on both vehicles if we divorce ? (2) She would like to move out of state to ny and i have a 1yr old child can i keep her from moving out of state ? (3)Is there any set law in nj for child visitation, i would like to see my son every weekend is this possible ? (4) i am currently working 3 different jobs, can i stop recieving income from the 2 other jobs that I have,I have been terminated from one of the jobs already do i need to prove this and the second job i might have to quit in order to spend time with my son.what effect will this have on child support and alimony payments if i can only work my main job ? (5)Can I be forced to work more than one job or produce the same income that I have over the past several years ?
