Re: forgery

Forgery is a crime. If you have a reasonable basis for concluding that it is she who forges your name, you can file a criminal complaint. That should give her a jolt of reality.

Re: forgery

If I understand your question correctly, it appears to you that your ex-husband's present girlfriend signed your alimony checks. How do you know he did not authorize the signature? And in any case, wasn't the alimony properly payable to you? Who has been defrauded here? You got money you were properly entitled to and it apparently came from your ex-husband's account. I think the reasonable assumption is that your ex asked her to sign the check.

Why don't you ask him? If there is truly a forgery here, you will be assisting him in catching someone who is perpetrating a fraud on him. That would be a great service to him. If you can't or won't do this, I think you need to search for your own motivation in even asking the question.

If my assumptions are incorrect, I apologize for the inferences made.
