Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

my friend wrote a motion because he ex is supposed give her 30% or his bonuses for alimony and 2% for child support. She based it on the PSA stating that his salary is based on 200,000 a year and his w2 shows he made 318,000. the judge denied it saying plaintiff failed to substantiate relief request. Can anyone give me any advice on how she should have proved his bonus money. Does a tax transcript state bonus money? and can you get a tax transcript for someone else? Or should she have ordered some sort of papers from his employers stating bonus money or pay for the year? And how would she go about doing that? Thanks in advance!
