Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

My friends husband has informed her he's been seeing his ex-wife and wants a divorce to go back to her - he wants to be remarried by 3/11. They have 2 children (11 yrs & 3 yrs). He has not moved out of the apartment as he says he has nowhere to go and they just signed a new 1 yr lease. She wants to know what her rights are and how to go through this process without it causing her financial concern. Since he initiated the divorce we believe he should be responsible for her legal fees in addition to any alimony and child support. Thank You for your help.
