hi -
even if you don't want visitation, you still can be forced to pay child support. the mother would file for paternity/custody/child support, there is a hearing, and the judge makes the decision. you can ask for a dna test also. if the baby is yours, the court will set an amount of child support for you to pay. feel free to call me at 609 263-0089 if you have any other questions. good luck !!
Re: What should I do?
What you should do is "be a man!" If the child is yours, be a father to the child by not only paying support, but also by being there for the child through his or her entire life, going to school conferences, sharing child caring obligations, participating in extra curricular activities, doing homework, caring for him/her when sick, etc., etc. etc. I say all of this assuming that you are the father. A blood test will confirm this. You should ask the Court to order this test to confirm your paternity. If you turn out to be the father, best of luck. I truly wish you pleasure over the years.
