Re: My girlfriend is Bi-polar

The Court will determine custody based upon the "best interests of the child". If you can prove that she is unfit or that your child is better off in your custody, you may obtain sole custody. As far as 50% custody, that may work now, but what about when your child is in school full time? You should really have a full consultation with an attorney on this issue. There are many other facts which should be discussed before providing you with any more detailed advice. If you would like to schedule a consultation with me, please contact my secretary, Debbie, at 856-795-6700.
