I suggest you just get a good attorney. As the other attorneys indicated, its not that difficult to do.

Re: My ex is giving me a hard time

I have read what the other attorneys have written, and they are correct. serving him with the divorce lawsuit takes a little work, but is not hard; if you can not serve him, you ask the Court to let you serve him by other means, mailing to the old address and publishing in the newspaper.

If you would like, give me a call; I am in Hackensack (northern New Jersey). I will be happy to discuss

this with you; a brief telephone consultation will be free.

My contact information can be obtained from the links below, just click on the Attorney Profile link. Let my secretary know you found me through LawGuru.

Re: My ex is giving me a hard time

Why not have your spouse served through a process server in Georga?

The process server can attempt to serve your spouse at his last known address. If your spouse has moved again you can get an affidavit from the process server attesting to the fact that an attempt was made to serve your spouse at his last known address, but he had moved and left no forwarding address. If your spouse is still at his last known address then you can can an affidavit of service from the process server.

You can then mail a copy of the papers to your spouse's last known address, and place a notice in all of the local papers regarding the divocre.

You can also have your spouse served at his place of employment.
