Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

grandparent rights

I have 3 kids. My mother who I don't speek to anymore(for over a year now) wants visitation with them, she didn't raise me, My grandmother did, I feel that she i unfit to be a parent. I can prove that she is unfit, I don't want er anywhere near my kids. What can I do?

You can oppose your mother's application for a court order granting her visitation with your children for the reason given in your question.

To pick up on what Mr. Moore said, I don't think we are talking about court here yet. So, you can deny her and she would have to go to court to get visitation. Then you oppose it.
