gransmother having custody of her granddaughter

I am presenlty having my 12 yr old granddaughter's custody since 4 months.her parents are seperated and my daughter in law does not care her daughter.my sons tried his best but has been going a rough journey in his life.My granddaughter ended up with me as his father (my son) was irresponsible sometimes and was caught by the law enforcing agents.I am physically disabled myself and am feeling it difficult to handle my granddaugher,to discipline her etc.My question is what is the procedure if I want to come out of this custody agreement so that the child can go back to the govt agencies who used to take care of her ...please enlighten me

If it is too much for you to handle, you need to discuss this with the agency. They should explore other alternatives.
