Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

I was grated custody of minor child with no parenting time on 1/26/11. Didnt find out child was my nephew until January 2010 from that time i have been trying to help mother get herself together child was neglected child has been living with me since March 2010. I have taken child to get all medical and dental treatment that was needed, child last dr visit before i took him in April 2010 was October 2008 he has never been to a dentist and had 10 cavities. I am the only person who has taken child to school from 1st day of school been to back to school night and report card night. Mother has an problem with alcohol and child was in danger of being removed by child services. I obtained custody to keep child out of forster system. Once i was granted custody maternal aunt was upset and is seeking to take custody of minor child.

The question is not whether she can take you to court in an attempt to take custody from you

because she is going to court for this purpose. The question is whether she can demonstrate that the best interest of the child is to be in her custody. From what you say, she should find this particular task to be very difficult. You should call me at 201/342/7933 to discuss your problem.
