Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

Guardian ad litem

Where may I find basic principles and procedures that should be followed by a Guardian ad litem when investigating a custody situation? My son's contacted no family members, friends, teachers, etc. She also only spent .6 hrs with my son alone, and thinks that a motel room is an appropriate place to parent a child from! Help! Please!

Re: Guardian ad litem

The guardian ad litem has the responsibility of protecting the best interests of the child. That is the governing principle.
