Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

harassment charge

I was charged with 2c:33-4b harassment. 4th degree petty persons. Basically for verbal confritation which caused the defendant to strike me. My question is would or could this be an indictable charge. And what could the possible penaties be?

You are charged with a petty disorderly persons offense which has a maximum sentence of 30 days and a possible fine of $500.00.
