Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey
Health benefits
I amm self-employed as a Horse race handicapper, but getting steady clients is like pulling teeth! anyway, my question is, my 13 year old son lives with me 2-3 days a week, his mother the rest of the time. Presently his mother is looking for employment, but currently on social services, i received a letter from the court saying that not only MUST i get JOB in 10 days, but show proof of health coverage or I am going to jail!!! Is this really enforceable?

That makes no sense to me. The court cannot order you to get a job. The court will not send a letter to you either. You would have had a court date. I have an office in Toms River, so feel free to call me at 732/247/3340.
