Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

Help...I need advice ASAP!

My husband was served with divorce papers in Oct 08 cause I caught him cheating. We both own the house and have a 3yr old son. There are a few issues with this case that I need help with.

1. My lawyer did not want me to keep the house and I feel that she is punishing me because I want it. I don't think she's really working for me...that she just wants the case over with. She is very rude and nasty and I have seen a comment she wrote about me. I am supposed to go to court on 6/25 to finalize the divorce but I don't want to sign the papers because I feel the agreement is not in my best interest. Can this I postpone it?

2. In the agreement, I keep the house and buy out my husband. In the event that I cannot get approved for the mortgage and I have to put the house up for sale, I am still liable to pay him the agreed amount, regardless of what the house sells for. I told my lawyer that I don't want to agree to this and she said you wanted the house so you're stuck and that she wasn't sure if it can be changed because it was put on record. I only got the final copy of the agreement last week and called her to explain all of this to me. Can it still be changed?

There's a lot more to this story but I'm out of characters......HELP!
