Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey
Ex Husband disregards court order.
My husband will not give me my daughter back for memorial weekend. Is there anything I can do asap to get her back. The police won't make him give her to me. I have shown them the court order, and all they say is make a police report for documentation. What can I do???

Well the courts are closed but there is probably someone there for emergency purposes. The question becomes, is this an emgergency? Some judges would say yes, others would say no. You can try to do something about it now but you may have to wait until after the weekend. Call me at 732/247/3340 to discuss.

You can hire a lawyer, and go to Court to have the Judge punish him if he is violating a court Order.
